Can Dowry be removed through renovation of law?

We don’t think that dowry can be vanished from its root, because we have seen several panel making law since 1984, but now if we look at the consequence – our nation is confronting 6500 dowry cases every year. Now the question is – Where are the lacking inspite of having strictness. Don’t we have enough laws and rules to at least curb it?

Crisis lies within the system, and the bureaucracy is responsible which is corrupt. Only 10% people get justice and rest of the cases filed in the register under the circumstances.

Fast track court would be the better option to eliminate dowry cases. As we have seen these kind of courts in Delhi and Mumbai which solves only the family affairs. This kind of courts can’t have lawyers. Only family members are allowed to negotiate over the issue based on the family drama.

Now the question is what do we understand by dowry?

A father who gives dowry and also takes dowry. The mean is clear that when a father adieus his daughter, he gives her as much as he can, and says that- “it is just blessings from my side, and he will not let her daughter go with empty hand.” How can it possible?

On the contrary a father also think that he made his son educated and afforded the expenditure, that way he expect from the other family something to be given.

When the demands are not fulfilled, then whole family starts torturing her. As we know what exactly happens. But this is simple called exploitation.

Really it is tough to define dowry. These kind of social afflicts must be vanished.  Women have to be educated for fighting against these kinds of social evils.

We the people need to change our perception and thinking so that women could also evolve. A nation can not enhance without empowering women.

As the saying goals-

Yatra naryante pujyante,  Ramante tatra Devta!!

Where the women are adored or idolized there dwells God.
